WHY?

The calcium of Sekang Pharm is completely different.

The raw material of the existing calcium agent relied on imported low-cost limestone that goes through a chemical process. Sekang Pharm Poongnyun uses only Korean shells from the south coast.

A CEO who worked at the Seoul National University Hospital Medical Research Institute established a patent application independent process development technology after two years of research. Through this process, even the residual salt, known as the only disadvantage of shells, is completely removed via an ultra-high temperature electric furnace that utilizes arc discharge.

Sekang Pharm manufactures and analyzes calcium carbonate, calcium oxide and calcium hydroxide by upcycling discarded oyster shells.

Calcium carbonate, calcium oxide, and calcium hydroxide, which are manufactured and analyzed separately, can be used as raw materials in industries such as papermaking, chemical processing, medicine, food, iron making, steel making, disinfection, quarantine, construction materials, water treatment, and agriculture.
